OP Assistans is looking for a personal assistant who wants to work as a substitute on an as-needed basis for one of our clients in Gävle.

ABOUT THE JOB

The position is a substitute role as needed. The estimated need has previously been about 1 shift per week on average, but since it is a need-based employment, it may vary. The tasks include transfers, personal care, wound dressing, and other assistance in the client's daily life. The work is carried out both in and outside the client's home, and the days may look different. Some days may be filled with activities while others are spent in more tranquility at home.

Working hours: Weekdays from 08:00 AM to 05:30 PM

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 40s living in Gävle with her family. She uses a wheelchair and communicates her wants and needs herself. An active woman who enjoys exercising, baking, cooking, and gardening. She works part-time and enjoys spending time with family and friends and appreciates traveling. There are pets in the home.

We are looking for someone who is confident in themselves and their role as a personal assistant. You need to be flexible and have a good ability to adapt to the client's wishes and needs. In addition, there are a few requirements to be able to work at this workplace:

Requirements:

• Can work where there are pets in the home
• Has sufficient physical fitness to handle an active workday

It is also advantageous if you:

• Have a B driver's license
• Have experience in personal assistance or another care-related profession

Many of our managers have themselves worked as personal assistants and have a deep understanding of the profession. This means we can provide you with the personal service you need while having the security and stability of a larger organization. OP Assistans currently has 55 clients and about 400 employees who are employed full-time or part-time. The office is located in central Gävle.
