Personal assistant wanted for an active man with a twinkle in his eye!

We are now looking for an engaged and attentive personal assistant for a wheelchair-bound man with both physical and cognitive disabilities. The job involves supporting him in daily life, helping with meal preparation, personal hygiene such as showering and changing, dressing and undressing, cleaning, and during transfers between bed and wheelchair. An important part of the assignment also involves participating in leisure activities and social contexts.

Our client enjoys when things happen and needs a lot of stimulation and activation. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is creative, positive, and enjoys coming up with fun activities in everyday life. It is very important that you are attentive, patient, and secure in your role, as well as having experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors. You need to be able to work in a low-arousal manner, create calm in challenging situations, and have the ability to find solutions when needed.

We would like you to be someone who takes initiative, is responsible, and enjoys working both independently and in a team. During the day, you will work together with colleagues and supervisors, while during night shifts, you will work independently.

Working hours vary between day, evening, and night. The position is part-time at 75%.
