In accordance with the Health Choice mission, we treat normal pregnancies and offer parental support, ultrasound services, contraceptive counseling, STI testing, and cervical sampling. Here we work according to the terms of reference for accredited Midwifery Clinics within Region Skåne. We are at the forefront of digital development and offer health conversations, contraceptive counseling, and menopause counseling as video visits.

The Midwifery Clinic in Hörby is in the process of becoming part of a family center, where we will focus on good collaboration with all involved healthcare providers around the expectant family. As a midwife with us, you will meet a wide spectrum of patients, including various ages, backgrounds, education, and experience. Here, maternal healthcare, child healthcare, and social counseling are already in place.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of midwife with us, you have an independent and stimulating job, where your approach and competence can make a significant difference for the individual. We offer you an introduction tailored to your experiences so that you can integrate into the organization smoothly.

The position as a midwife includes monitoring pregnancies according to Region Skåne's basic program, contraceptive counseling, lifestyle counseling, gynecological cervical sampling, light gynecology, STI testing, and HPV vaccination.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Work at other clinics in the area may occur if needed. Partial remote work can be offered, by agreement and if the organization allows. One day a week, another midwife will be present, on the remaining days you will work as the sole midwife at the clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed midwife with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have language skills in Swedish that at least correspond to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. We utilize IT support as much as possible to facilitate care and free up time for personal meetings. Therefore, it is advantageous if you have experience working with various operational systems. It is also meritorious if you have work experience as a midwife, preferably from maternal healthcare, delivery, and perinatal departments and/or maternity wards. Additionally, it is beneficial if you have menopause training, 7.5 credits.
