JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with interest and commitment to work within municipal health and medical care. You are driven by creating good conditions for the patient's independence, and your assignment includes planning, coordinating, and implementing occupational therapy interventions based on the patient's individual needs. You will work with activity assessments and rehabilitative measures in close dialogue with the patient and in collaboration with relevant staff. The position also includes assessment, trial, and prescription of medical technical aids, as well as providing support, guidance, and training to nursing staff.

The work is conducted both in regular housing and in special housing and takes place in a cross-professional team. You will have close collaboration with physiotherapists, nurses, managers, nursing staff, and care coordinators to ensure comprehensive care.

QUALIFICATIONS

The work requires you to be solution-focused and able to plan and organize your time effectively. You have good collaboration skills and an interest in creating good relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues.

Experience in rehabilitation and municipal home care is an advantage but not a requirement. The role suits both newly graduated individuals and those with previous experience as an occupational therapist.

Within the organization, there is ongoing development work to improve conditions for our patients. You will participate in this work and influence the development of the organization based on your knowledge and previous experiences.

You have good computer skills, are curious, and have a positive attitude towards welfare technology and digital services in the field.

You need to master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues in both speech and writing.

A B driver's license for manual transmission is required.
