Vårdcentralen Åparken has approximately 6,200 registered patients and around 25 employees. We are a small unit with good communication between professional categories and close collaboration in daily work. The health center has well-functioning clinics in diabetes, memory, hypertension, and asthma/COPD, as well as a competent rehabilitation team. Tyringe is an old spa town with nature-close surroundings and good commuting opportunities, with a bus and train station about 300 meters from the health center and free parking adjacent to the workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of specialist physician in general medicine, you will work broadly with outpatient care that includes both planned and urgent patient visits. There is also the possibility to be the responsible physician for special accommodations (Säbo) and LSS accommodations.

The work is conducted in teams with the patient in focus. We are divided into two teams and have joint team rounds two days a week, which creates good conditions for collaboration, continuity, and knowledge exchange between professional categories.

You will have the opportunity to participate in the development of the operations together with colleagues. For those interested, there is also the possibility to take on the role of medically responsible physician in the future. We work in the PMO journal system and have access to the inpatient care journal system Melior.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of part-time work. We are responsive to requests regarding employment levels, schedules, and individual development, and we offer competitive salaries.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are a requirement for the position.
