We are about 400 colleagues in the administration, and our role is to provide residents with the right tools so they can take responsibility for their own development and livelihood. Additionally, we coordinate the city's work with migration and establishment issues.

Job Responsibilities

As a system administrator, you will work closely with the operations and be responsible for the management and further development of our operational systems based on the needs of the operations. You will manage the Adult Education's operational system Edlevo, but the role also includes work with other systems within the administration. You will plan and participate in procurements and major changes of operational systems and work with supplier management and contract follow-up, in close collaboration with operations, IT, and the procurement function.

Your responsibilities include system maintenance, user support, and training of support users, system and access administration, as well as ongoing contacts with system suppliers and other partners. Together with the operations, you will capture, analyze, and translate operational needs. You will also be part of the administration's preparation group related to portfolio management, where you will contribute with the system management perspective in prioritizations, preparations, and decisions.

An important part of the role is to continuously extract data from the administration's systems and ensure quality in close collaboration with the administration's controllers. In the autumn of 2025, a pilot was conducted regarding an object management model, and you will be a key person in the continued work to further develop and establish the model within the administration.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys collaboration, wants to share their knowledge, and is motivated by both management and development-oriented tasks.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

have a relevant university degree in computer science or equivalent competence that we assess as comparable.
have several years of experience in system management.
have experience in management and development work within the public sector, preferably related to adult education.
express yourself well in both speech and writing.

As a person, you are expected to work independently, but also have the ability to collaborate as the assignment involves communication with a large number of people. You have the ability to create good relationships with your surroundings. You are inspired by both development-oriented and management tasks. You have a structured working method, are meticulous and efficient with a pronounced pedagogical ability and a sense of service. You need to be able to quickly understand issues, prioritize, and keep track of multiple things at once. You are development-oriented and want to find new, more efficient ways to solve tasks.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in procurement of operational systems, project and change management, as well as previous experience with the operational system Edlevo.
