We are looking for a software tester who wants to work broadly with both manual and automated testing in critical societal systems.

About the job

You will work with the entire testing chain - from test strategy and test design to automation, execution, and follow-up. In this role, you will collaborate with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues who share experiences and solve future technical challenges. You will be a central part of the team's delivery work.

Your contributions in the role:

• You develop, refine, and further develop test strategies for the team's deliveries.
• You design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests.
• You ensure good test coverage for requirements, features, and user stories.
• You identify, analyze, and report defects in a clear and structured manner.
• You work with test environments, test data, and testing tools.
• You contribute to improved quality assurance and Continuous Testing.

You will work in a modern and scalable development environment where we use Red Hat OpenShift, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and tools like GIT, Jira, and Confluence. The focus is on sustainable solutions, automation, and low technical debt.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
