Join Comsys – where curiosity meets hands-on innovation

At Comsys, we develop advanced electronic solutions used in demanding industrial applications worldwide. We are a technology-driven, growing company with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What really sets us apart is our people. At Comsys, you’ll find a supportive, down-to-earth culture where knowledge sharing and curiosity are encouraged. Whether you’re early in your career, have practical experience, or are a recent graduate, there’s plenty of room to grow if you are eager to learn.

We are now looking for a R&D Test Engineer to join our R&D team and work with the development and testing of ADF filters.

More about us: https://comsys.se

About the role as R&D Test Engineer

This role offers a blend of practical and theoretical R&D work. You’ll spend time both in the laboratory and analyzing results, helping to bridge the gap between hardware, electronics theory, and real-world applications.

You don’t need to be a seasoned engineer to succeed; what matters most is your interest in electronics, curiosity about how things work, and motivation to work hands-on with real products. Whether you have a Bachelor’s degree or have gained your competence through practical experience, we’re interested in hearing from you.

You will be involved throughout the R&D process: setting up test environments, performing measurements, analyzing results, troubleshooting, and supporting development through practical electronics work.

At Comsys, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow, working alongside experienced colleagues in a collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Set up and configure laboratory test units and test environments for ADF filters

  • Perform measurements and execute tests according to test plans and specifications

  • Analyze test results and support development with insights from data

  • Ensure test equipment and lab setups are fully operational and correctly configured

  • Document results and produce structured test reports and protocols

  • Assemble, modify, and repair test units and prototypes as needed

  • Troubleshoot issues in test setups, prototypes, and laboratory equipment

Who we’re looking for

We welcome candidates with different paths into electronics, including:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, or related fields who want to work closer to hardware

  • A practical, hands-on background in electronics, gained through work experience or technical vocational training where you’ve developed a strong interest and solid skills in laboratory work, testing, production, or similar environments.

You also bring:

  • Experience with laboratory testing and measurement of electronic products

  • Familiarity with test equipment and ideally power electronics

  • Practical skills with soldering and electronics assembly

  • Understanding of PCBAs, circuits, and electronics theory

  • Strong communication skills in English and Swedish (both required)

Your profile

You are a curious, analytical, and structured person who enjoys working in a laboratory and learning from real-world electronics. You are comfortable bridging theory and practice, collaborating with others, and taking initiative to solve technical challenges.

You thrive in a learning-oriented environment, are proactive, and are motivated to further develop your skills.

What it’s like to work at Comsys

  • A friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive team

  • A culture that encourages curiosity, learning, and hands-on experience

  • Close collaboration between R&D, production, and other teams

  • Short decision paths and a work environment where ideas are welcomed

  • Focus on quality, technology, and long-term development

If you are looking for a role where you can blend theory with hands-on electronics, learn a lot, and grow with a dedicated team, Comsys could be the right place for you.

We review applications on an ongoing basis and will close the recruitment once we have found the right candidate, so don’t wait to apply! (link to recruitment system)
