We are currently seeking a curious and driven Junior AI Developer on behalf of our client who wants to help build a new AI pipeline in its pilot phase. The assignment is socially relevant, technically challenging, and suits those who want to work closely with senior specialists in an environment where experimentation and learning are encouraged. In this role, you will be part of an engaged team developing advanced AI algorithms to analyze and summarize events in image and video material. The solution enables effective understanding of complex occurrences through automated analysis, where the AI identifies patterns, sequences, and relevant events in the material.

The work takes place in a cloud-based environment, where incoming data is sent to the cloud platform for training, testing, and running AI models. Here, you will work closely with both technology and architecture, focusing on performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop and enhance AI algorithms in a new pipeline
• Work with image and video data in cloud-based environments
• Prepare cost estimates for data volumes, processing power, and data warehouses
• Identify technical bottlenecks and challenges
• Collaborate closely with senior AI developers in development and testing
• Explore new approaches, angles, and solutions in an experimental environment

• Has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent education
• Has experience with Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks
• Has experience or a strong interest in AI/ML development, preferably within image or video data
• Has basic knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Speaks and writes fluently in English

It is a merit but not a requirement if you:

• Have your own projects, student engagement, or similar practical experience in AI or data

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that you will eventually become a direct employee of the client.
