We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Consultant in the automotive sector for an ongoing assignment within the automotive industry. The role focuses on automated testing, diagnostics, and monitoring of product quality in a complex embedded environment.

You will work closely with development and quality teams to ensure product stability through automated testing and structured reporting. The assignment follows an established delivery model and combines practical testing work with continuous status reporting.

• Analysis of automated test results

• Clearly documented error reports for identified deviations

• Ongoing reporting of product health status

• Contribution to weekly status reporting, including:

  • Testing progress

  • Identified issues

  • Summary of completed and planned activities

The assignment requires solid experience in automated testing and diagnostics within the automotive industry.

Core competencies:

• Automated testing with pytest and/or Robot Framework

• Log analysis using tools such as:

  • Vector CANoe

  • Wireshark

• Deep knowledge of fundamental vehicle technologies, such as:

  • Downloading and updating ECU software

  • Vehicle diagnostics

  • Energy and power management

• Analytical, structured, and self-driven

• Accustomed to working in technically complex environments

• Good communication skills and experience in status reporting

• Previous experience in automotive or embedded systems is a requirement

• Start: Immediately or as agreed

• Scope: Full-time

• Duration: Long-term assignment

• Location: On-site/hybrid depending on the assignment setup
