We are looking for someone driven by the sales of technical products and system solutions to the Swedish power industry. In the role of technical salesperson within the business area of Power Automation, you will have commercial responsibility for developing the existing customer base and gradually building new business with switchgear and panel builders in medium and low voltage, electrical designers/consultants, and industrial companies in Sweden and the Nordic region. The product portfolio you will work with includes, among other things, measurement value conversion, monitoring and alarm panels, multi-instruments, communication, protection and relays, current transformers (CT), and earth fault monitoring. The goal is always to ensure that the customer receives a functioning overall solution. You will work closely with customers and suppliers in the field.

Tillquist wants to be a partner that drives suppliers forward, not just sells from a catalog. Therefore, you will have a clear, respectful, and solution-oriented dialogue and provide ongoing market feedback on what works in the Swedish and Nordic markets. Often, it is small, well-motivated adjustments that open doors to new customers and segments. Over time, you will broaden the portfolio by identifying new suppliers or technical needs without losing momentum. You can balance between testing new things and delivering here and now.

How success is measured in the role

  • You take over and develop parts of an existing customer portfolio
  • You introduce new products to the market in a methodical way
  • You build new relationships in prioritized segments in a sustainable way
  • Your pipeline is clean and honest – quote to order weighs heavier than the number of meetings
  • Customers and suppliers describe you as reliable, action-oriented, liked, and trusted

We are looking for you who have worked with sales in power automation or related technology areas and want to continue in the sales role. You have chosen sales as a profession and prefer to gather more satisfied references than more levels on your business card. You are technically interested and driven, comfortable in conducting technical dialogues (preferably within the power automation field), and have an understanding of industrial communication interfaces – while being curious and wanting to continue learning more.

You value the customer's time and do what it takes to reach the goal together when the situation is critical. For you, sales is about being a trusted advisor, and you hone your craft by reflecting on conversations, sharpening materials, testing new approaches, and maintaining a high professional level in every customer dialogue. As a person, you are reliable, action-oriented, solution-focused, and meticulous in your work.

You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, a B driver's license, and a willingness to travel when business requires it. Your base is at the headquarters in Kista, where the team often meets.
