About the role and your tasks

We are now looking for nursing assistants for permanent positions during the day. You will work as a fixed care contact. The staff group is divided into smaller divisions, with 2-3 fixed care contacts who, together with a runner, are responsible for the work with the division's users. They may also visit other users.

Your work is guided by the needs of the individuals. A workday may consist of providing support and assistance with personal care, medical interventions on delegation from a nurse, and other assistance that the person you support may need. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the operation and maintaining good quality.

We offer

Everyone can work full-time, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes a week. Everyone works every other weekend. The working hours when you work during the day are mainly from 07:00 to 15:00.

Qualifications

• Trained nursing assistant or experienced care assistant.
• Experience in healthcare and nursing.
• You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• You also need to have good digital skills, for example in connection with documentation.
• Cycling experience is required for work in home care.
• Driving license is desirable.

You are responsible, committed, flexible, and attentive - with users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is for each individual to be involved and have influence over their daily life.

About the workplace

Home care in Södra Sandby shares premises with the nursing home Fästan on Backgatan. From here, we cycle out to the users who live around the village. For longer distances and in the evening, we also have car rounds.

Lund's municipal home care is divided into several geographical areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care assistants work in teams with health and medical staff under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area has a unit administrator and coordinator/planner.
