June Folk High School is looking for a teacher for the Nursing Assistant program, 1 position 80-100%

Do you want to be part of June Folk High School and help shape our new nursing assistant program!? The pedagogy of folk high schools is based on participation and collaborative learning. To provide good conditions for our participants to succeed in their studies, we have chosen to conduct the studies in a smaller class on-site in our premises. The nursing assistant program is a two-year vocational education (full-time) at the upper secondary level where theory and practice are combined. The course started for the first time in the autumn of 2025 with one class. In the autumn of 2026, we will expand with an additional class and therefore need to strengthen the team with a teacher in health and care subjects. We are now looking for someone who wants to help build the program and work long-term to enable more people to train as nursing assistants. You will be part of a team of 3-4 people. The team is responsible for driving, planning, and implementing the education. Everyone in the team has their respective courses and areas of responsibility, and we work closely together where everyone takes responsibility for the whole. Which courses you will be responsible for will be determined in consultation with the team based on your competence and experience. The scope of the position can vary according to your wishes.

Competence/Experience:

We want you to be passionate about influencing, shaping, and supporting our participants in various ways on their path to successfully completing their education and being well-prepared for working life. We are looking for someone with experience in health and care work. We place great emphasis on your theoretical competence; it is desirable that you have training as a nurse. Previous experience in teaching, work within folk education, or other pedagogical activities is meritorious.
