June Folk High School is looking for a teacher for the Social Pedagogy program, 1 position 80-100%

The Social Pedagogy program is a post-secondary vocational education lasting two years. We offer a full-time education and a distance education. The foundation of the full-time education is a process-oriented learning approach that takes place on-site at the school from Monday to Friday. Throughout the four semesters, theory and practice are alternated. The distance education is aimed at individuals who are already working in social work but lack formal qualifications. The structure of the distance education is a mix of instruction that takes place in the school’s premises and teaching via digital tools. You will be part of a team of five people. The team is responsible for driving, planning, and implementing the education. Everyone in the team has their respective courses and areas of responsibility, and we work closely together where everyone takes responsibility for the whole. The courses you will be responsible for will be determined in consultation with the team based on your competence and experience.

Competence/Experience:

We want you to be passionate about influencing and shaping our participants who will work with people living in social vulnerability in various ways. Therefore, the most important competence you possess is your own work experience in social change work or treatment work. We place great emphasis on your theoretical competence acquired through university or equivalent. Previous experience in teaching, work within folk education, or other educational activities is an advantage.
