About the team & role

As a summer intern with us, you will support the work of developing district heating in northern Stockholm. The role involves mapping and analyzing properties to identify potential for district heating connections and strengthen the data quality around our customer facilities.

Your work will be close to the operations and contribute to the basis used in both forecasting and decision-making. The role suits you who are analytical, meticulous, and curious about how data, properties, and energy systems are interconnected in practice.

Your tasks in the role:

  • Gather and compile Atemp data for customer facilities in the Stockholm area
  • Verify and document collected data according to established procedures
  • Link property data to respective facilities to strengthen data quality and decision-making basis
  • Identify properties with potential for district heating connections
  • Work with digital tools and analyze map and property data
  • Produce map materials and documentation to support local teams
  • Collaborate with colleagues in technology and business development

This is what you will gain: The work provides you with practical experience in data collection and analysis within the energy sector and an increased understanding of how district heating, properties, and geographic data are used in real development projects.

About you?

We are looking for someone who has started a university/college education in energy, energy systems, urban planning, property technology, or another similar relevant field.

– and who recognizes themselves in several of the following points:

  • Works meticulously and structured and has good analytical skills

  • Is self-driven, takes initiative, and enjoys responsibility

  • Appreciates collaboration and checking in with colleagues

  • Has good computer skills and basic knowledge of Excel or similar tools

  • Has an interest in energy, properties, geography, urban development, community planning, technology, or data management

  • Has experience with GIS (preferable but not required)
