About the role of Connection Engineer

We are now looking for you who want to work as a Connection Engineer in our connection team. The team belongs to the Customer & Market function, and Connection is responsible for connecting new and existing customers to the electricity grid by driving customer-initiated projects from start to finish. They combine technical sizing with coordination, customer dialogue, and cost follow-up. In this department, your primary tasks will be as follows:

Responsibilities

• Manage simpler connection cases and projects related to new customers or properties.
• Send orders to contractors and follow up on execution.
• Maintain contact with customers, contractors, and internal clients.
• Assess capacity and perform calculations, for example, for connecting solar panels.
• Clean and complete information in existing projects ahead of the upcoming system change in 2027.
• Data quality and administration in connection projects.
• Possibly participate in work with robots and automation
  
  
  Who are you?
• We are looking for someone studying electrical power, energy technology, or technical physics with an energy profile. If you are studying to become a Civil Engineer with a focus on electrical engineering/energy and are in your third or fourth year, we consider it an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Basic knowledge of Excel.
• We consider previous work experience in a service-related profession as an advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is a plus.

We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and self-driven with a strong sense of service. You enjoy customer contact and find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and external parties. Additionally, you are organized, structured, and meticulous, which is important since you work on many projects simultaneously. You are forward-thinking, easily adapt to new systems, and can solve problems independently.

The recruitment process

In this recruitment process, Ellevio collaborates with the staffing company Clevry. After you submit your application, we will review your profile. Qualified candidates for the role will receive an email notifying them that they have progressed in the process and will then take a cognitive test to make the process as objective as possible. Later in the process, background checks will be applied, which means a register check as well as a credit report and references.
