About the role of network analyst

Ellevio is now looking for a network analyst for the Technical Development team, which belongs to the Asset Management and Operation function until the summer of 2026. The department's primary purpose is to develop and implement analyses that provide insights into how we design and plan our investments in the electricity grid, how we plan our maintenance, and how operations should be planned.

Responsibilities

• Develop forecasts for power and capacity needs within different parts of the electricity grid
• Analyze the structure of the electricity grid and investigate future capacity needs
• Conduct technical and economic analyses to provide well-balanced decision-making support
• Develop and further develop Power BI reports for monitoring and analysis
• Troubleshoot data and work on data quality analysis
• Develop and improve code related to power forecasts
• Participate in improvement and development work within the analysis and forecasting area

Who are you?

• We are looking for someone studying to become a civil engineer at a university or college in energy, electrical power, statistics, data, or a related field.
• Have experience in programming, preferably in SQL and Python.
• Have experience in data analysis and visualization.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• It is an advantage if you have previous work experience, for example through internships or other employment, in areas such as data analysis, time series analysis, electricity networks, energy, or project management.
• It is also an advantage if you are familiar with tools such as Power BI and Databricks.

As a person, you are proactive and have the ability to work independently while also being willing to ask for help when needed. You are positive and helpful and thrive in an environment where an open-minded attitude, good collaboration, and mutual support are highly valued. Furthermore, you are analytical and have good problem-solving skills, with a strong drive to create understanding and continuously improve work methods and deliveries.
