To conduct an effective and safe medical operation with good quality in a rational manner, we have gathered resource-demanding examinations within the diagnostic area. This includes the medical specialties of imaging and functional medicine, clinical physiology, nuclear medicine, and neuroradiology.

The radiology department at Helsingborg Hospital operates emergency services around the clock. Here, ultrasound examinations, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, peripheral angiography, and traditional radiological examinations are performed. We are a total of about 160 employees from various professional categories, all working to ensure that the patient experience is as good as possible.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a nursing assistant with an interest in radiology and enjoy a job where you support and help others? Then you could be our new colleague!

We are now looking for two nursing assistants to join our dedicated team. The position is varied, and you will work with everything from reception work and bookings to assisting in radiological examinations. As a nursing assistant with us, you play an important role in ensuring that all work around the patient runs smoothly. You do this by being helpful in a listening and accommodating manner and ensuring that your team colleagues have the best possible conditions to assist the patient. Providing good service to doctors and radiographers based on specific needs is therefore a significant part of the job. Collaboration in the department is crucial to our success, and we are constantly working on improvements. We welcome your own ideas and contributions to the development of our operations. Here, you contribute to a healthy work environment for everyone.

Since all work is done digitally, you will work daily with a computer as your main tool. Therefore, you need to be comfortable with and enjoy working with digital tools.

We have a fixed schedule, and you will work days, evenings, and every fourth weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, we see you as a humble team player who understands the importance of good collaboration for the patient's best interest. In this role, you will closely collaborate with radiographers and doctors. Therefore, we value your ability to provide good service and your flexible approach, both in adapting to different working methods and to the variety of tasks. Furthermore, you are used to handling stressful and pressured situations, in which you can calmly and methodically prioritize and take one thing at a time. Additionally, we see that you have an interest in care and the ability to meet patients in various situations and conditions. Personal suitability is of great importance.

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the requirements of the National Board of Health and Welfare for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied according to previous or current program structures. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good experience working in an IT-based environment are required. It is an advantage if you have experience in reception work, radiology work, and/or administrative work. We also view positively if you have experience working independently.
