In 2026, the district will make a major investment in expanding family home care. Therefore, we are now looking for an additional team leader.

Our mission is to continuously follow up and develop the care of children in family homes, so that every child can have a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where they can grow and thrive.

In Skärholmen, child secretaries and family home secretaries work closely together, with clear roles and responsibilities, to create a smooth and secure everyday life for the children. The family care has also developed a working model with enhanced support, where both Marte Meo/MAFI therapists and family therapists are involved in all phases – from planning to follow-up – to provide each child with the support they need.

We are now looking for someone who has the competence and willingness to lead and distribute the work primarily to the group of family home secretaries.

Your Role

You lead the team towards common goals and create a secure and legally sound handling of cases. With a coaching and present leadership style, you support employees in their work and contribute to their development in their roles.

In your role, you actively collaborate with other units within the administration and assist the unit manager with questions regarding budget, work environment, and business development. You are an important part of the management team, where you, together with colleagues, drive improvements and create a strong and positive work environment. The role involves close cooperation with your team leader colleague in the child secretary group.

Your Competence and Experience

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work
• Experience working in family home care
• Several years of relevant experience in public authority work concerning children and youth
• Competence in BBIC (children's needs in focus)
• Knowledge of and practical experience with Signs of Safety
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish

Meritorious:

• Experience with the Umbrella System
• Current experience in leadership

We are looking for someone who is engaged, secure, and clear. You show trust, create participation, and have very good collaboration skills. Your work is characterized by good structure, but you can also be flexible when needed. Furthermore, you have a strong desire to drive your work forward with great endurance and a focus on quality and legal security.
