SiS Youth Home Tysslinge is a high-security institution that receives young people with high risks of threats, violence, and absconding. The institution has a total of seven departments that accommodate young people placed under the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU) and young people sentenced under the Act on Secure Youth Care (LSU). One of the departments consists of places for young people who are cared for in isolation (VIE) for a period.

In the role of treatment pedagogue, you work in a team and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people in our care receive the structure, security, care, and treatment they need. We meet young people in crisis, which means we must support the individual in their daily life through individually tailored and qualified care and motivational work with clear structures. With the support of your and your colleagues' knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the fulfillment of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work for planning and following up on treatment. During the day, you also function as a teaching assistant and participate in the young people's schooling and leisure activities.

Since SiS Youth Home Tysslinge has the highest security classification within SiS, it means that you need to work with a high level of risk awareness. You contribute to maintaining security in accordance with our written instructions and procedures.

This is a job for you who can stand firm and want to create safety and security in the often very difficult life situations of the young people. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied. As a civil servant, it is important that you act professionally and in accordance with objectivity and legal certainty. You share our vision of being a place for change, which permeates our approach, engagement, and attitude.

As a new employee, you will undergo SiS basic training. The training combines theory with a guided introduction and prepares you for the treatment role in SiS operations.

The employment begins with a mandatory introductory week, which is a prerequisite for starting work in the department. The training will take place on-site in Tysslinge.
