Revida Omsorg offers professional and knowledgeable assistance with respite and escort services to families in need of these services. At the center are children and young people with disabilities who need support to live as fulfilling and developmental lives as possible. Revida Omsorg also considers the best interests of the whole family and therefore designs interventions in close collaboration with parents and relatives. We see it as important to take into account the child's/young person's own interests and wishes to enable the best educational intervention.

Adults with disabilities can also be granted respite and escort services according to LSS. Here, too, the aim is to facilitate everyday life and improve quality of life through participation in society and social contexts.

Revida Omsorg also offers housing support to individuals living in their own homes who have a mental or neuropsychiatric disability and need guidance and support in their daily lives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as an escort/respite provider for a wonderful girl with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities. She needs support in her daily life to meet her basic needs and wishes – and above all, someone who can share joy, activities, and companionship with her.

To ensure a good match, it is important that you are attentive, caring, and have the ability to understand what is good for her. You enjoy being outdoors, walking, and are happy to come up with fun, creative, and adapted activities together.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is advantageous if you are a trained escort/respite provider or have experience in the field.

About the position:

12-30 hours/month, performed in the afternoons and on weekends. Start as soon as possible.
