In the Scanner Solutions team, they work on further developing the company's products to also function within histopathology and cytology, an analysis of general tissues and cells. This means a journey from blood to significantly more complex biological structures and a substantial technical leap into a much larger market.

This is an area where everything is not yet fully defined. Much of the work involves exploring what works and what does not. If you enjoy working at the intersection of research, product development, and engineering, you will thrive here. There are good opportunities for development, and the team consists of both senior and junior members.

The role includes the following areas of work:

• Programming in C++, C#, and Python (frontend, backend, and data-close development)
• Algorithm development and optimization
• Image processing (image formats, compression)
• Image analysis
• Efforts in machine learning
• Integration of hardware components
• Calibrations
• Work with optics, motors, cameras, light sources, etc.

• Has a Master's degree in Engineering Physics, Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Can communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used daily in dialogue
• Enjoys working in a structured, analytical manner and close to technology

It is meritorious but not a requirement if you:

• Have courses or experience in image analysis, image processing, or computer vision
• Knowledge in machine learning or algorithm development
• Experience in programming in C++, C#, or Python
• Understanding of signal processing, optics, or system integration

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that you will eventually be directly employed by the client.
