About the Position

In the role of System Developer .NET within the unit for Emergency and Security Applications, you will play a key role in developing the systems that support the country's electricity supply. The work includes both new development and management as well as continuous improvement of our existing applications.

The position will also include:

• Developing and maintaining robust solutions that meet high demands for availability and performance.
• Design and architecture to ensure scalable, secure, and tailored system solutions for future needs.
• Testing and quality assurance, performing unit and integration tests to ensure that the systems function as intended, as well as preventing and addressing bugs.
• Creating and updating documentation in the form of system, requirements, and/or design documents.
• Monitoring the external environment and contributing to technical choices.
• Continuously ensuring high IT security.
• Collaboration within the team and supporting clients.

The role of system developer at Svenska kraftnät involves close collaboration with experienced colleagues who manage and further develop systems and IT infrastructure with high demands for security and availability.

As a System Developer, you will formally belong to the unit for Emergency and Security Applications, and you will also support other units at Svenska kraftnät, which means you will work broadly within our various business areas. The unit for Emergency and Security Applications consists of management leaders, system owners, IT specialists, and system developers who handle application operations and support for several business-critical applications and systems.

About You

Mandatory Requirements:

You have good collaboration skills and are keen to create good long-term relationships. Quality awareness and analytical ability are also highly valued traits. You are structured in your work approach and have good problem-solving skills.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have a degree from a university or college in computer science, system development, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent. You also have:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in:
• development of REST APIs
• system development in .NET
• system development with Entity Framework
• system development against SQL databases
• At least 3 years of experience in frontend development with React
• Experience working in projects with issue and requirement management
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, for example in Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub
• Experience with agile working methods
• Good ability to express yourself, verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of:

• Front-end development with .NET Razor pages
• Working with container-based technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift
• System development or management of IT systems that impose high demands on IT security
• Configuration of IIS
• Work within the public sector, government, etc.
