Windows Server Technician

The changing global situation requires our defense to be strengthened, and the increased intelligence activities against Sweden and the Armed Forces are extensive. The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence operations and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense, and security policy, as well as for mapping external threats against Sweden.

Main Responsibilities
As a Windows server technician, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure and its various systems. The position involves installations, configurations, and troubleshooting. Problem-solving and log analysis in complex environments are also included. Reporting and documenting ongoing and completed work is seen as a natural part of the job. You who apply are willing to learn new things within the entire competence area and take great responsibility for your commitments. The work is varied, and to succeed in your role, you will work alongside experienced colleagues. Your tasks also include participating in and supporting the office's other activities.
Qualifications
- Education in IT or equivalent experience deemed comparable by the employer
- Experience working as a Windows server technician or support technician, or similar position
- Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Driving license B
Meritorious
- Experience with Windows Server 2016 or later
- Experience with VMware version 7
- Experience with Linux RHEL 9
- Basic knowledge of servers, including installation, automation and PowerShell, maintenance, and security
- Experience from IT infrastructure in the Armed Forces or another authority within total defense
- Some experience working with installation/operation/maintenance/troubleshooting of switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and other network devices
