Our client in central Stockholm is looking for a Senior VMware Specialist for an assignment in an exciting IT environment. To take the next step in the development of the virtualization platform, the organization is seeking an expert in VMware who can contribute to the team.

In this role, you will be an important part of the work to design and implement the future virtualization platform. You will work alongside colleagues and will also be responsible for documenting solutions and ensuring that knowledge is transferred to other teams.

• Design and implementation of VMware-based solutions

• Automation and orchestration of infrastructure

• Management and further development of the virtualization platform

• Documentation of technical solutions and working methods

• Knowledge transfer to the organization

• Work in accordance with agile methods

We are looking for someone with deep experience in automation and orchestration of IT infrastructure as well as strong technical expertise in VMware. For this role, we expect you to have deep knowledge in the following areas:

• VMware Aria Automation

• VMware Aria Orchestrator

• VMware vCloud Director

• VMware NSX-T

• VMware SRM / Live Recovery

You also have good experience with:

• Git (GitHub/GitLab)

• PowerShell

• JavaScript

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented, which enables you to take responsibility for complex technical challenges and drive them forward in a clear and effective manner. You have the ability to break down large problems into manageable parts, create clear solutions, and document them so that they can be used by both technical teams and stakeholders. You thrive in an environment where you can work independently but also collaborate closely with colleagues, and you actively contribute to improving processes and working methods within the team.

Start: Immediate start with consideration for notice period. The assignment is full-time and ongoing.
