The Individual and Family Administration is responsible for measures according to SoL and LSS, which include individual and family care and care for people with disabilities. Municipal citizens in need of social services can receive advice, support, and assistance. In most cases, our assistance and measures are provided after an individual assessment as part of our authority's exercise. We aim for the measures we provide to lead to independence.

The operation focuses on measures for children, young people, and their parents, substance abuse issues, domestic violence, people with disabilities who need support in their daily lives, people in need of financial support, labor market measures, rehabilitation, and integration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves supporting the child/youth in everyday life with e.g., hygiene, meals, delegated tasks, or social interaction. We work based on clear pedagogical principles with predictability through known routines and approaches, implementation plans/job descriptions, schedules, pictures, and more.

Clear pedagogical principles aim to make communication, events, actions, and environments manageable and understandable. Working from a low-arousal approach means that you should work on diverting in various situations and avoiding confrontation.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a support assistant, we are looking for someone with care education, child and leisure education, or other education/experience that the employer considers relevant for the assignment is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have post-secondary education in the field.

It is also an advantage if you have worked with children and parents in vulnerable situations. You should want to work based on clear pedagogical principles and a low-arousal approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We work with contact person responsibility and creating good relationships with the children and their network.

Driver's license is required.

Upon employment, a criminal record extract must be presented.
