Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation is a municipal federation tasked with conducting and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

Lars Kagg School is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation. The school has about 1300 students and around 130 staff members. We offer both vocational programs and university preparatory programs. We provide a friendly and pleasant workplace with engaged colleagues in a developing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of the student health team and will work both independently and in collaboration with the team and other staff. Your work is directed towards the national programs and involves working on individual, group, and organizational levels. You are the school's expert on psychosocial issues and can guide students who need support from other societal assistance agencies. Together with the other members of the student health team, you are responsible for the preventive and health-promoting work with our students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is primarily a trained social worker or has an education deemed equivalent. You have a structured and service-oriented working approach. It is important that you can see the whole picture regarding students and groups and that you have good collaboration skills as the work involves many contacts with staff, authorities, and other agencies. Previous experience in social services and/or schools is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

OTHER

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record for work within schools must be presented.

The position will be filled provided that it does not need to be claimed by surplus staff or that the necessary political decisions are made.
