We are looking for a Process Engineer, focusing on chemical processes!

About the role:

As a Process Engineer focusing on chemical processes and equipment, you will be a key person in our efforts to develop, optimize, and ensure stable operations in our business. You will work closely with production, maintenance, automation, and environmental teams, contributing your chemical engineering expertise to both strategic and operational matters.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Driving or participating in process changes
• Optimizing and further developing chemical process steps
• Analyzing operational data as needed to ensure stable production
• Supporting the operations organization
• Working with risk assessments such as HAZOP, FMEA, etc.
• Creating and updating technical documentation, instructions, and process descriptions in the process changes you are involved in
• Participating in the installation, validation, and commissioning of new or modified equipment, new or changed process steps

We prefer that you have the following education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, industrial chemistry, or a related field
• Experience from the process industry
• Some understanding of chemical reactions, heat and mass transfer, and process control
• Some experience in data analysis and statistics
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, understand and create P&ID and process control documents
