About Us

We are a workgroup looking for more colleagues. We care for multi-ill elderly and fragile patients from a holistic perspective with a structured approach.

We offer you a varied and diverse job where we actively work for the multi-ill elderly patient. Many of those we meet have not just one illness but often several that we need to consider and treat from a holistic perspective. This means that the patient meets many different professions, and the team consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers.

We provide acute geriatric inpatient care with direct admission around the clock via the emergency department. We also have a specialist clinic for the investigation of memory problems and a mobile team ALMA. The department has 12 care places divided into 2 care teams.

The department is Silvia-certified in dementia care.

Your Responsibilities

Together with the nurse and the entire team, you will meet the patient's needs for daily care and perform specific nursing actions.

In our departments, you will encounter the following patient groups:

• Decreased kidney function with a need for carefully balanced fluid balance.
• Decreased heart function with a need for clear care goals and medication adjustments.
• Infectious diseases with and without compromised circulation.
• Cognitive diseases.

Your Qualifications

You are a trained nursing assistant with courses in health and medical care course 1 and 2 (previously emergency care) or equivalent. In addition to your grades as a nursing assistant, you need a certificate of your professional qualification as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on 1/7 2023. You have knowledge of dementia diseases. You need to have good collaboration skills as you will be part of a team. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
