About us

The clinic for surgery and urology is a large clinic with a care department, surgical, urological, breast, and endoscopy outpatient clinics, as well as its own day care department. We strive to offer the population in the region surgical care and treatment with great competence and high quality.

At the endoscopy unit, we are a wonderful team where doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries work together. Here you will experience an educational and exciting everyday life with good camaraderie and a lot of job satisfaction, where the patient is always in focus. The work includes both surgical care and treatment as well as IBD outpatient care. Both planned and acute activities are conducted here.

Your tasks

• Telephone advice, with a large part being advice for IBD patients with flare-ups.
• Assist the endoscopist during colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and gastroscopy.
• Assist doctors in surgery/ICU during ERCP, PEG, acute bleeding, stent placement, etc.
• Assist the endoscopist in surgery during colonoscopy and gastroscopy for children and adults.
• Administer infusions to patients with IBD.
• Coordinate the day's acute examinations reported from the departments.
• Own clinic for capsule endoscopy.

Your qualifications

You are a licensed nurse who has worked for a few years; experience in surgical/endoscopy and medical/IBD care is an advantage. You are attentive and used to taking responsibility. You are service-oriented, flexible, creative, and structured. You find it easy to collaborate with others as much of the work involves teamwork. With your willingness and commitment, you want to be a part of and help develop the operations. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and interest in the tasks.

Employment form

Fixed-term employment until 2027-01-31 with start date according to agreement. The position is daytime, 40 hours/week, Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM and Fridays 7:30 AM-12:30 PM.
