District Doctor at Healthcare Center in Strängnäs

About Us

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a district doctor at a smaller, personal healthcare center with great commitment and close collaboration between professions. Currently, we have four district doctors, one geriatrician, and two ST doctors working alongside highly competent nurses with specialist knowledge in asthma/COPD, heart failure, diabetes, and dementia. We also have a psychologist, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist – which allows us to offer our patients safe, comprehensive care with continuity. We hold regular medical meetings and maintain close daily collaboration among all professional groups. Decision-making paths are short and simple, providing both flexibility and the opportunity to influence work methods and development. The healthcare center is located in the heart of the city, right by the beautiful cathedral and within walking distance to the shores of Lake Mälaren. It is easy to reach us as Strängnäs is close to many of the cities in the Mälardalen region. Your Responsibilities

The healthcare center has nearly 6000 registered patients and is responsible for a nursing home and home care. You will have your own defined patient list, standard duties as a district doctor, and we would like you to have an interest in supervision. You will work independently but in close collaboration with all professional groups within primary care. We place great emphasis on a good working environment where you have the opportunity to influence your schedule and appointment bookings.

Your Qualifications

Specialist certificate in general medicine. Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1.

Employment Type

Permanent employment with start date by agreement. A probationary period may apply.
