We are a small unit with cheerful and positive employees looking for a new engaged colleague to our SSIH unit in Trosa-Gnesta!

About us

In SSIH, -specialized healthcare at home, we primarily work with palliative patients of all ages and with various diagnoses. Our goal is to provide the patient with a good quality of life during a difficult life situation and to enable patients to stay at home even during severe illness. We also have patients who need temporary interventions from us at SSIH for a period, such as nutritional drops, blood transfusions, or antibiotics. We work in multiprofessional teams, with nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and dietitians. Our patients reside in both Trosa and Gnesta municipalities, but we operate from our premises at Health Center Trosa.

Your tasks

As a nurse in SSIH, you work at the patient's home and have overall responsibility for the care planned together with the patient. You also conduct assessment visits, if necessary together with a doctor. The work includes, for example, handling medical technical equipment, central accesses, infusions, pain relief, handling drains, transfusions, patient/relative conversations, and coordination of basic nursing interventions. You often collaborate with primary care, home healthcare, special accommodations, assistance officers, and the municipality's home care groups.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in palliative care or care in the patient's own home. You have worked for a few years and are confident in your role. You are responsible, flexible, used to making independent decisions, and enjoy collaborating. A valid driver's license (B) is required. Like us, you should always be concerned about providing our patients with a good reception and care. We place great importance on personal qualities.
