We are now looking for summer substitutes for the elderly department in the municipality's home care areas. YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working hours vary and may include days, evenings, and weekends. We are also looking for summer substitutes for the night patrol, where shifts are scheduled at night, including weekends.

As a summer substitute, you provide support and care to users in their homes, such as assistance with personal hygiene, cleaning, social interaction, as well as meals and shopping. You perform your tasks in a professional and trustworthy manner and work according to the users' decided implementation plans. In this role, you collaborate with colleagues and other professional groups to provide users with the best possible support.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

  • Have a B driver's license.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

WE HIGHLY VALUE:

  • Experience with social documentation, such as record-keeping and reporting deviations.
  • Experience working in documentation systems.
  • Experience from working in care and nursing.
  • Experience with medication delegation.
  • High school education.
  • Ability to cycle.
  • Training as a care assistant and proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

Interviews for the summer substitutes will be conducted in the form of group interviews, where you will have the opportunity to meet the employer and get more information about the various operations. Work samples may be relevant. Applications and interviews are handled continuously during the recruitment process.

  • Monthly employment or hourly employment.
  • The summer substitutes will be from 2026-06-01 to 2026-08-31. You may be offered the entire period, or parts of it.
  • Start date by agreement.
  • Individual salary setting.
  • Number of positions: 30.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this by showing your passport or a personal certificate along with a valid ID. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you need to show that you have a valid work permit – or that you are exempt from the work permit requirement.

  • As an applicant, you are responsible for clearly documenting your qualifications so that we can make an objective and fair assessment of your application.
  • When working with children and young people, a police record extract is required before employment.
  • Employment can only occur after we have checked the work permit, in accordance with the Aliens Ordinance.
