About Us

The Psychiatric Clinic at Mälarsjukhuset (MSE) is responsible for the treatment of mental health issues requiring specialist competence. The catchment area includes Eskilstuna and Strängnäs and corresponds to the northern part of Region Sörmland. The Psychiatric Clinic has three inpatient wards, four outpatient clinics, and a psychiatric emergency department. We care for our staff, and to ensure you feel secure in your role as a nurse at PIVA, an introduction tailored to your needs will be offered. You will become part of a fantastic team with extensive experience and good competence.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse at PIVA, you will work in a team with caregivers, social workers, and doctors. The department consists of 12 care places, of which 2 are psychiatric intensive care places. As a nursing specialist, you will be responsible for qualified psychiatric and somatic care, lead and distribute work, and be responsible for planning and documentation. You will be offered regular meetings within the profession.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse. Experience in psychiatric inpatient care and addiction treatment is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
