The Higher Education Test is a voluntary exam that measures knowledge and skills and is used as one of the selection criteria for universities and colleges in Sweden. The test is administered twice a year, and the University of Gothenburg assists the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) in conducting the higher education test in the Gothenburg region.

We are now looking for test leaders and assistants who want to help ensure that the test day is conducted clearly, safely, and fairly.

The work takes place in the following locations: Alingsås, Gothenburg, Kungsbacka, Kungälv, Lerum, Partille, Mölnlycke, Vårgårda, and Stenungsund.

Job Responsibilities

The Test Leader leads the test in a test room and is responsible for ensuring that the test is conducted correctly according to applicable rules. Responsibilities include, among other things:

· Several oral presentations, including a 30-minute overview of the rules for the test day

· Conducting identity checks

· Handling test materials according to established instructions

· Timing during the test sessions

· Monitoring test participants during the test sessions

The Assistant assists the test leader in a test room with several writing groups. Responsibilities include, among other things:

· Distributing and collecting test materials

· Conducting identity checks

· Monitoring test participants during the test sessions

Qualifications

Requirements

• Completed studies corresponding to at least 90 higher education credits

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

• Previous experience of independent work

Meritorious

• Current or previous work at a university or college.

• Experience of working in a government agency or other regulated activity

• Educational experience from a school or higher education institution

• Experience in public speaking

• Experience in various types of trust assignments

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is responsible, meticulous, structured, resilient to stress, and cooperative. You follow instructions and familiarize yourself with rules and routines.

The work requires a high level of commitment, and great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment Conditions

Before the work assignment, you need to carefully read through a job description and undergo a digital training.

The working hours for test leaders and assistants are from 07:00 to 17:00. The fee is 2800 SEK for test leaders and 2000 SEK for assistants (including vacation pay). Travel compensation is not paid.
