Customer Receptionist/Service Advisor at Malmö City Workshop

Malmö City Workshop is now looking for a customer receptionist/service advisor for our operations, which include passenger car workshop, construction workshop (heavy vehicles), tire workshop, and car wash. A total of about 18 employees work within the workshop.

No day is the same with us. We handle a wide range of vehicles and machinery and are looking for someone who thrives in a service-oriented role with responsibility for customer contact, planning, and administration. The role involves customer reception and service advice for both light and heavy vehicles as well as daily planning of the workshop's work according to established routines.

Responsibilities

• Customer reception and service advice for all workshop departments
• Daily planning and coordination of the workshop's work and workflow
• Booking and registration of service and repair cases
• Registration of new vehicles in the workshop's system according to applicable routines
• Preparation of price estimates and cost bases
• Ensuring correct invoicing basis and invoicing
• Ongoing customer contact and follow-up of ongoing work

The work is carried out according to established routines and methods in close dialogue with the responsible manager to best support the operations with the needs that exist.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school education and a background in the service area. You have documented work experience as a service advisor/customer receptionist. As a customer receptionist, you work at the front desk, which means personal contact with customers, both at the counter and via phone and email. It is important that you have a good understanding of the importance of exceptionally good service and good customer interaction. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is also required that you have good computer skills and hold at least a B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.

You are efficient in your work, can take your own initiatives, and have a flexible working style. You have the ability to work towards multiple goals simultaneously, even under time pressure. We also see that you are passionate about providing service and always work with the intention of exceeding customer expectations. Furthermore, you are a social person who finds it easy to collaborate with others. Your positive attitude easily rubs off on others, and you are good at balancing the demands of working life. It is important that you are a problem solver, as you will encounter many different types of situations in this role. You are attentive and know what you need to do to create a personal relationship with the customer and meet their needs.

It is an advantage if you have technical experience and experience from the vehicle, machinery, or workshop area. If you have experience with workshop systems, such as Kobra II, this is also an advantage.

On-call duty may occur as part of the position.
