Combitech is looking for Senior DevOps and DevSecOps Engineers

Combitech is looking for Senior DevOps and DevSecOps Engineers to join our team in Stockholm. We offer an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to work as a consultant for one of our clients, including those in the defense industry. You will work with the latest technologies in cloud services and automation, primarily AWS and Azure. The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Automate and optimize development and operations processes - create efficient flows that improve quality, traceability, and delivery speed.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines - using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Circle CI, Azure Pipelines.
• Work with containerization and orchestration - use Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS), Helm/Kustomize to create scalable and reliable solutions.
• Manage infrastructure as code - with tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, and CloudFormation to ensure stable and secure operations.
• Ensure quality and security - through automated testing, code reviews, IAM management, and scanning of code and containers.
• Work with monitoring and incident management - using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack to keep systems stable.
• Integrate security solutions, including Vault or cloud-based secret managers, SAST/DAST pipelines, SBOM generation, and compliance checks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and operations teams - to create solutions that are both scalable and reliable.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant educational background: Engineering degree or other technical education in software or IT.
• Is familiar with technologies, tools, and languages: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Octopus Deploy, as well as containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Has experience in DevOps work (minimum 5 years), working with cloud services like AWS and Azure, and preferably scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Is analytical and solution-oriented: Has the ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive change.
• Has good collaboration and communication skills: Enjoys working in teams and creating efficient flows together with developers and operations teams.
• Is flexible and positive towards change: Has a desire to develop and contribute to improvements in processes and working methods.

As the position involves work subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with background checks.
