Do you want to help shape a completely new, modern, and secure IT platform at one of Sweden's most socially important organizations? We are currently seeking VMware Engineers for a comprehensive and strategic transformation project where you will play a key role in developing a future-proof infrastructure-based payment platform.

As a VMware Engineer, you will be a central part of a highly skilled team that builds and establishes a new scalable and modern platform from the ground up. You will work in an advanced environment with both on-prem and cloud-based solutions, and have significant influence over architecture, technical choices, and how the platform is designed for the long term.

You will enter a situation where much is happening simultaneously – modernization, migration, and new development – giving you the opportunity to work both technically deep and broad.

• Design, develop, implement, and manage VMware-based infrastructure solutions

• Build, stabilize, and further develop a completely new infrastructure platform

• Work with automation, orchestration, and integrations between different systems and services

• Ensure high availability, performance, and security in complex environments

• Participate in operations, hardening, and ensuring critical infrastructure functions

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an organization with high technical ambitions

We are looking for someone with deep technical expertise in virtualization and VMware – especially VMware Cloud Foundation – who thrives in an environment where new things are built, improved, and structured along the way. You work methodically, value quality, and have a strong interest in modern and secure infrastructure solutions.

• Strong experience with VMware and virtualization platforms

• Experience with both on-prem and cloud-based environments

• Good understanding of IT security, hardening, and operations of business-critical systems

• Knowledge of Linux

• Preferably experience with Kubernetes

• Experience with NSX is a plus

• Experience with larger, distributed, and complex infrastructures is a plus
