Assignment Description

The section is a strategic, governing, and supportive function that works in collaboration with the business on development work as well as coordination, management, and development of common areas, methods, and tools. The section aims for a holistic perspective at the organizational level.

The requirements analyst will drive the requirements work forward and support the project/assignment leader in order to create conditions for the project's/assignment's deliveries.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for carrying out and driving the requirements-related activities that each assignment encompasses. You act as a link between stakeholders, project managers, development teams, and other relevant parties to ensure that the requirements work meets the needs of the business.

• Lead and coordinate the requirements process: Ensure that the right requirements are produced at the right time with the right quality. Plan, prioritize, and follow up on the requirements work.
• Requirements gathering and analysis: Conduct interviews and workshops to collect requirements from stakeholders and users. Identify and analyze requirements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed requirements documents, specifications, and user stories that clearly describe functional and non-functional requirements.
• Communication: Serve as a communication channel between various stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and testers, to ensure that all parties have a common understanding of the requirements.
• Requirements management: Support the assignment in establishing lifecycle management for requirements. Track and manage changes in requirements throughout the project's lifecycle, including prioritizing and validating requirements. Create structure among requirements and support the establishment of requirements management.
• Verification and validation: Participate in the review and approval of requirements documents and support testing activities (acceptance testing) to ensure that the delivered solutions meet the defined requirements.
• Risk management: Identify potential risks and issues related to requirements and propose actions to address them.
• Test management: Develop test plans based on the requirements and lead the testing process. This will occur to a lesser extent; the focus is on requirements work.

Mandatory Requirements

• Academic degree at least at the bachelor's level in IT, computer science, or systems science.
• At least 5 years of experience as a requirements analyst, working within business development, system development, and/or IT projects, with tasks such as gathering and prioritizing requirements, leading workshops, etc.
• At least 5 years of experience working with requirements management tools and platforms, Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
• At least 5 years of experience working cross-functionally and broadly with requirements work, where the consultant has handled requirements in at least two of the following areas: process development, IT systems (frontend/backend), IT hardware, and Operational Technology (OT).

Desirable Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with agile methods.
• At least 3 years of experience in the role of assignment or project manager.
• Certification in agile methods, SAFe or Scrum.
