We are now looking for a junior software tester where you will work with testing and verification of advanced systems in close collaboration with other technical roles. We are looking for a junior software tester for a high-tech company in the defense industry, where software testing is a crucial part of product development. In this role, you will work closely with both software and systems, in an environment where complex technical solutions must function correctly, robustly, and reliably in demanding contexts.

As a software tester, you will be an important part of the development chain and contribute to ensuring that the systems work as intended – both from a technical and user-centric perspective. The testing primarily involves GUI-based tests, but the role also provides a deep understanding of how software interacts with other parts of the system, such as hardware, communication, and user interfaces.

You will work closely with developers, systems engineers, and other technical roles, where quality, traceability, and structure are central concepts. The environment is characterized by clear requirements, technical documentation, and high quality standards – making the role particularly attractive for those who appreciate technology in depth and want to work methodically with software quality.

For the right person, there are good opportunities to gradually take on greater technical responsibility, for example in test methodology, automation, or system understanding, as you build your competence in both the product and the domain.

• Has a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Has 1–2 years of relevant work experience in testing, verification, or related technical roles
• Is genuinely interested in technology and software testing
• Has experience with, or interest in, automated testing and scripting
• Enjoys working in a structured, analytical way and close to technology

You easily adapt to new contexts, enjoy working in a structured manner, and have an analytical approach where you like to delve deep to understand cause and effect. You take responsibility for your work, follow up on details, and have the patience to work methodically even when problem-solving requires perseverance. At the same time, you thrive in collaboration with other technical roles, communicate clearly, and contribute with a professional and solution-oriented approach in the team.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
