JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

As a Data Engineer, you will work end-to-end with data platforms and data flows, often in modern cloud environments. You will build and modernize clients' data environments, from ingestion and processing to analysis, focusing on quality, scalability, and business value.

As a consultant, you will work on long-term assignments with clients in various industries. You will step in as a specialist with the opportunity to influence and drive improvements together with the client and team. You understand both the technical and business purposes behind the solutions and contribute to ensuring that data is actually used to make better decisions and develop the business.

The assignments vary depending on the client's maturity, from building new data platforms from scratch to modernizing and further developing existing environments.

Build and further develop data platforms and data flows in production
Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines
Work with modern cloud platforms and data architecture
Collaborate closely with clients, product teams, and other specialists to create business value

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
Has experience working end-to-end with data flows and data platforms in production
Has practical experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
Has experience orchestrating data flows (e.g., Airflow or similar)
Has a good understanding of data modeling, data management, and data quality
Has experience with larger data storage solutions such as data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouses
Has very good knowledge of SQL
Has good knowledge of Python for data processing and automation (preferably also PySpark)
Has practical experience with modern cloud and/or data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric)
Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

Experience or understanding of how data is used for analysis and visualization, for example in Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar tools
Experience with Databricks
Knowledge in related areas such as AI, data science, machine learning
