In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a senior and responsible position within Digital Workplace, where virtual client platforms are a central part. You will be a key person in the work of managing, developing, and future-proofing the organization's virtual workplaces and application deliveries, with a strong focus on user experience, stability, and security.

The role is technically hands-on and combines daily operations and further development of existing solutions with planning and design of future platforms.

As a Digital Workplace Engineer focusing on virtual client platforms, you will work closely with both technology, operations, and user representatives. You will capture needs, translate them into technical solutions, and help drive the development of the organization's digital workplaces forward.

The emphasis in the role is on virtual client platforms, where Citrix and VMware/Omnissa Horizon form the core. At the same time, you will be involved in the overall digital workplace, including client management and integrations with Microsoft's ecosystem.

• Management and further development of Citrix-based virtual client environments

• Design and development of VMware/Omnissa Horizon-based solutions

• Virtual clients, application packaging, and associated infrastructure

• Automation and improvement of workflows in a DevOps-oriented function

• Ensure stable, secure, and user-friendly virtual workplaces, for example through patching and lifecycle management of the technical environment

• Capture user needs and translate them into sustainable technical solutions

• Work with automation and scripts for more efficient operations and management

• Collaborate with internal teams, user representatives, and external suppliers

• Contribute to strategic decisions and long-term platform development

We are looking for someone with experience in virtual client environments who thrives in the intersection of technology, users, and development.

• Experience with Citrix Workspace / Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops

• Experience with VMware / Omnissa Horizon

• Good understanding of virtual client platforms and application delivery

• Experience with SCCM, Tanium, or similar tools

• Scripting and development experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

• Experience working with solution design and technical holistic solutions

• Experience with DevOps methodologies or automation

You are solution-oriented, analytical, and technically curious.

You take responsibility, work in a structured manner, and thrive in collaboration with both technical and operational roles. You have the ability to see the big picture without losing focus on details.
