The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, after-school care, primary school, high school, and adapted primary and high school. We have over 3,200 employees at 45 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four high schools. The position and responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher to join our fantastic team, Havet! You will belong to the 4-6 working group and become a mentor in grade 5 together with two colleagues.

You will conduct teaching in your own class but also in other classes in the middle school.

We are looking for someone who is confident and clear in their leadership. You should have a good ability to create strong relationships with students and parents. You should want to collaborate closely with your colleagues in the working group.

You will plan and conduct teaching in science subjects and technology, as well as preferably another theoretical subject, such as mathematics or Swedish. You will do this together with our other teachers in middle school.

We offer you

Trädgårdsstadsskolan is a K-9 school located in Tullinge in Botkyrka Municipality. The school was built in 2002 and has about 670 students from K-9. The school has two parallel classes up to grade 5 and is then a three-parallel school up to grade 9. We have fresh, modern, and bright premises. The school is built in modules with workrooms closely connected to classrooms and play areas, which provides good conditions for creating strong relationships with the students.

Our school has been selected as a training school and thus has a close collaboration with Stockholm University and the practice-based education for teacher students. We are a school with driven and development-oriented colleagues who keep up to date with new research and findings. We are always working to develop and improve our operations, and we achieve good results over time.

Since 2011, we have a one-student-one-computer initiative, which means that all students have access to their own computer.

Who you are

Requirements: You are a qualified teacher with valid certification for middle school. You are an engaged mentor who sees each student; your strength, in addition to quality teaching, is your ability to build relationships. You have previous experience teaching in middle school.

Meritorious: It is meritorious if you are qualified in Swedish as a second language. It is meritorious if you have qualifications in several subjects. It is also meritorious if you are familiar with various digital systems such as Schoolsoft, Vklass, or Unikum.

We are looking for someone who is stable and secure in daily work within the team. As a mentor, you create and nurture good relationships with both students and colleagues as well as guardians. You have good collaboration skills and work best in a team.
