You will work at different schools throughout the Greater Stockholm area. The length of assignments varies from one to several days and sometimes even longer substitutes.

BILDA has collective agreements, offers an introductory training, and ongoing support and dialogue with an assigned contact person at BILDA.

As a substitute teacher, you are responsible for a whole or part of a class. There is usually lesson planning available, but in cases where lesson planning is missing, it is important to be solution-oriented to quickly create a rich lesson for the students.

To work as a substitute, you need:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous work experience in schools

- Experience in pedagogical work

- Good spoken and written Swedish

- Experience in leading/speaking in front of a group

It is an advantage if you:

- Have relevant education and/or knowledge to teach in various subjects

To fit into the role of a substitute, we also believe that you have high social competence, are flexible, and are used to taking your own initiatives. You should also thrive in an energetic environment and be engaged and responsible in your work. The core of the substitute role is also your great interest in working with children and young people.
