The Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) (https://ki.se/lime) works within some of the key areas that are important to fulfill Karolinska Institutet's mission "to improve people's health". We focus on research, development, and education in the following areas: medical pedagogy, informatics, management, ethics, and suicide prevention. LIME has about 100 employees and is located at Solna Campus.
The research group (Procome) (https://ki.se/forskning/forskningsomraden-centrum-och-natverk/forskargrupper/procome-hanna-ofverstroms-och-marta-roczniewskas-grupp), at the Medical Management Centre, LIME is looking for a research assistant for 1 year, full-time, focusing on evaluating a task that the National Board of Health and Welfare has regarding strengthening quality, accessibility, and efficiency in specialized child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP). Your role
We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and reflective research assistant with an interest in and experience of qualitative methods. The tasks include recruiting participants and conducting interviews (both digitally and on-site) with representatives from the BUP activities included in the project as well as with key persons from the National Board of Health and Welfare. You will also work with qualitative analyses of collected data.
The work may also involve contributing to the development of surveys and analyzing survey data. The role also includes compiling results and participating in the preparation of reports, as well as handling project administrative tasks. The work consists of independent and varied tasks that require accuracy, flexibility, and a good ability to plan and organize your work.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has:
- A master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. healthcare profession, organizational science, behavioral science, nursing, public health)
- A strong interest in improvement work within healthcare
- Excellent knowledge and documented experience in collecting, analyzing, and compiling qualitative data (e.g. interviews, focus groups, observations)
- Knowledge in improvement science and/or implementation science
- Very good ability to communicate in both spoken and written Swedish and English
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience in research and/or practical work within healthcare
- Experience in research administrative tasks
- Experience in managing and compiling survey data
- Experience working independently with research tasks
- Experience collaborating with various stakeholders in healthcare
