Job Responsibilities

The position of project assistant is divided into two main parts.

Approximately 50% of the working time involves work within a research and development project related to AI and health, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) in artificial intelligence. The tasks include:

• pedagogical and technical development of digital course materials
• participation in course design, structuring of content, and learning objectives
• production and editing of teaching materials (e.g., presentations, exercises, video materials)
• collaboration with researchers, teachers, and pedagogical support within the project.

The remaining 50% of the working time involves teaching and supervision, primarily:

• teaching at the undergraduate and master's levels in relevant areas
• supervision of thesis work at the undergraduate and master's levels.

The tasks can be partially adapted based on the project's needs and the applicant's qualifications.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• a master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, technology, health-related informatics, or a related field
• documented experience working with AI, data analysis, or related methods
• good programming skills, for example in Python
• experience in teaching, supervision, or pedagogical development work in higher education
• excellent ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in English.

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

• development of digital or online courses, especially MOOCs
• AI applications in health or life sciences
• pedagogical design for higher education
• interdisciplinary research or educational projects.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, collaborative ability, and pedagogical awareness.

About the Position

The position is full-time (100%) and is fixed-term until June 20, 2026. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.
