Do you want to be part of a creative team that works to give children their best summer experience? We are now looking for camp leaders for our youth camp Djuprämmen Water Camp, which serves approximately 55 young people aged 13-16 years.
Job Responsibilities
Your role as a camp leader at Djuprämmen's camp is to be responsible for children and young people aged 13-16 years, as well as to plan and lead activities for this participant group. Camp involves around-the-clock activities for the youth and us leaders. As a leader, you live and work at the camp together with the children and young people. Therefore, you need to be comfortable being away from home for at least 6 weeks.
Who are we looking for?
A large part of the work involves meeting children's needs and being able to guide them in their decisions. To meet this, we believe that you as a person need to be secure in yourself, your leadership role, and able to set boundaries. You also need to feel comfortable in more life-oriented conversations. To work as a camp leader with us, you need inner security and knowledge of what you want in working with children and young people. Therefore, we are looking for individuals who recognize themselves in these qualities.

It is also important that you can give and receive feedback and have the ambition and desire to develop the activities and yourself together with us. To work as a camp leader, we believe that qualities such as being able to take space in a group, being able to make mistakes and have fun, as well as being able to make decisions are necessary. We place great value on humor and social competence.
Experience
You who are applying should have a strong interest in being outdoors or experience in outdoor pedagogy, as most of our activities are conducted outdoors. Activities that we do include hiking, building rafts, climbing, swimming, and cooking outdoors. We will also have artistic activities such as theater, dance, and singing. Disco, football tournaments, and theme days are also on the schedule. Since we have such a variety of activities, we consider it an advantage if you have a background/experience as a leisure educator.

About the Company
Utepedagogik Sverige AB conducts camp activities at various camps for children and young people aged 9-16 years, focusing on adventure and our activities are centered on outdoor pedagogical methods. The cornerstones of Utepedagogik Sverige AB's pedagogical camp activities are: safety, quality, security, and community, as well as trained adults with a broad competence serving as good role models. Our guiding principle is "at our camps, you should be able to feel safe to be who you want to be".
Employment Conditions
The position is a full-time job. You must be able to attend our training days on-site at the camp in Värmland from April 30 to May 3, and June 6-11. During the summer, you need to be able to work and thus be away from home for at least six weeks during the period from June 12 to August 16.
