Consulting Services is an internal consulting organization within the Västra Götaland Region that offers services to all regional operations in various areas of expertise: security, environment, project and change management, business development, communication, and administration.

With great commitment and high collective competence, our 95 employees contribute to the region's development by relieving, supporting, and developing core operations.

Responsibilities

As a security consultant in security and preparedness, you will work as an internal consultant for all regional operations and cross-corporate projects. It is a varied job with great opportunities for development, with a large employer with a very broad operation. Here you will have the opportunity to switch between strategic and operational assignments. You will become part of our consulting unit and an important part of Västra Götaland Region's prioritized security work!

In the role of security consultant, you will support, develop, and implement assignments within our administrations' systematic security work.

Examples of assignment areas may include:

• Method support and project management or implementation in the operations' work with security analyses, investigations, and governing security documents
• Support in the operations' work with continuity planning
• Support the operations in developing work with preparedness, crisis management, and VGR's ability to be an active party in civil defense
• Propose and implement relevant training and exercises for the operations

The consulting unit currently consists of an engaged team with broad competence across several professions and different backgrounds. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant higher education, vocational education, or university education, or equivalent competence that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have good and broad experience in security work, such as security from an all-risk perspective, risk and vulnerability analyses, and security protection. You are well acquainted with how to work systematically with security and how to build a stable security culture. Previous experience in consulting work is an advantage.

As a person, you are secure and well-organized and act in a way that creates trust. You enjoy switching between different tasks and assignments and can re-prioritize as needed. We believe you have good analytical and pedagogical abilities and contribute to a good collaborative climate in your assignments.

The position requires a very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We place high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness and attach great importance to personal suitability.

Recruitment Process
