HESS Manager, a key role in developing a safe and sustainable operation

Do you want to lead and develop the work within health, environment, safety, and working conditions in a high-tech production environment? We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable HESS Manager who wants to contribute to creating a safe, secure, and sustainable workplace, focusing on both people and results.

Your everyday life

As a HESS Manager, you have the overall responsibility for driving, developing, and following up on the organization's work within health, environment, safety, and working conditions. The role is both strategic and operational; you develop guidelines, train employees, and ensure that laws, permits, and internal standards are followed.

You will, among other things:

  • Design and implement rules, routines, and goals within the HESS area.

  • Drive a strong safety and improvement culture throughout the organization.

  • Conduct internal audits and ensure that the organization meets ISO standards.

  • Lead risk analyses, training, and crisis exercises.

  • Collaborate with internal and external parties and contribute to the development of the company's management system.

This is a role for you who enjoys influencing, coaching, and inspiring others – and who wants to contribute to both safety and sustainable success.

Who are you?

You are a confident leader with solid experience in occupational health, safety, and environmental work, preferably from a technical or manufacturing-oriented business. You have a natural ability to build relationships and drive change with both structure and engagement.

We believe you have:

  • A university degree or equivalent experience in the HESS area.

  • Several years of experience in management/governance within HESS or a similar role.

  • Good knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and preferably AQAP.

  • Experience with management systems and LEAN work.

  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are communicative, analytical, and collaborative. You enjoy taking responsibility, making decisions, and being a visible leader who helps others grow.
