We are looking for an experienced designer/technical manager who wants to work on qualified assignments within bridge and civil engineering. With us, you will have the opportunity to take technical responsibility in varied projects and contribute your expertise throughout the project process.

About the role

In the role of designer/technical manager, you will work with design, dimensioning, and technical investigations of bridges and other civil engineering structures. You are responsible for developing technical solutions at different stages of projects, from early investigations to construction documents. The work also includes calculations, review of documents, and coordination with other technical areas. Depending on experience and interest, the role may also involve project management, client contact, and technical support to colleagues.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are self-driven and have the ability to push your tasks forward in a structured and responsible manner. You enjoy working both in teams and independently, and you find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and other technical disciplines. Experience in project management is valuable and seen as an asset in the role, as well as an interest in taking on greater responsibility in projects. It is an advantage if you have worked with load calculations of existing bridges and have experience in repairs and maintenance of bridges and other civil engineering structures.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
• At least 5 years of experience working with bridges and civil engineering structures
• Good ability to work with tools such as Brigade, FEM-design, Sofistik, AutoCAD, and MathCAD
• Very good knowledge of Eurocodes as well as Swedish standards and technical regulations
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
